Back from the Beach!

We're baaack! Sorry I gave no warning that there would be no updates for over a week. Since I've given public access to my site, I figured it wasn't the wisest idea to advertise to cyberspace that I would be leaving my home unoccupied for 8 days.

So anyway, of course, what everyone wants to see is pictures --- which I am prepared to deliver :) In case you were wondering, it turns out Susanna is a BEACH BABY! She loves the water, the sun, the sand, all of it. We had the most awesome, relaxing beach week with her - she ate and slept like an angel and was happy the whole time she was awake. And usually dancing. That girl can find a rhythm in anything, from real music to the sound of Aunt Kate's breast pump. That's right. She danced to the breast pump beat.

It was a loooong drive to Carolina Beach.
We had to squirt milk all over our faces to entertain ourselves.

A brief visit at Jamie and Scott's in Raleigh on the way home. Jamie made some yummy mac and cheese and chicken tenders with Total cereal breading - see her blog for her nutritious culinary expertise. Mrs. Ebert gave Susanna her first b-day present, a baby and kitty set.
