Susanna and mommy have been out and about as she becomes more alert and interested in checking out the world out there. On November 3, we went to Philly for Katie S.'s bridal shower. Katie and I have been great friends since we became neighbors at age 4. It was so crazy to remember the day Katie and Theresa slept over because their mom was having baby Caroline, and how we each got to hold her when she came home...and now it's
us having babies! Well, just me, actually, but "us" as in a new generation.
We're excited to see her marry Tom next summer and shorten her last name from 11 letters to 3. We'll forgive him for being a Packers fan since he's such a nice guy.
Friday we had a fun time with my good friend Jonnaysa and Baby Riley, who is three months older than Susie Lou. Jonnaysa and I are learning the mommy ropes together and love getting together for breakfast dates. Riley, as usual, was such a friendly guy to share his cool toys with us.
