Photo Shoot

Our awesome wedding photographers, Stephen and Sherry Croft (www.croftphotography.com - our smiling faces made the front page!) just opened a new studio in Robesonia and invited us to join them for a free photo shoot last Saturday so they could get some practice. As with any major outing, we did our best to time Susanna's naps and feedings so that she would be most content and smiley for others and save "Little Miss Crankypants time" for us at home. Well, as with any major outing so far, we didn't get it quite right. I ended up trying to calm down my little fusser by nursing her on the comfort of the Crofts' toilet, which kept her from crying for a whole 30 seconds or so afterwards. Hopefully we got a few good pictures in there. She was having none of being sat in a pink-blanket lined laundry basket with a strange teddy bear. Purple is her color, really - I should have known.

At least we found a Dairy Queen on the way home, which Jon says was worth every penny of $7.80 for two people and all the hassle of the trip.

When we got home, our little homebody was relieved and rewarded us with the irony of this little photo shoot full of smiles below:
