The Joy of Homeownership

Looking at the bright side. The water heater broke on my day off, so at least I don't have to take an unpaid day to wait for a plumber, we just got our tax refund this week so we can afford a new one, and I just got off night shift so it wasn't very hard to stay awake all night to keep an eye on the leak and change the towels!

This is the first major thing we've had to fix (the first two plumbing problems were covered by our home warranty), so it kind of feels like an initiation.
